We provide comprehensive eye exams including the use of digital retinal imaging and visual field testing. Our doctors fit many types of contact lenses including contacts for astigmatism (toric), multifocal & bifocal contact lenses, RGP (rigid gas permeable) lenses and colored contact lenses. Dr. Olding and Dr. Feltz also participate in InfantSEE, a public health program providing comprehensive infant eye and vision assessment within the first year of life regardless of a family’s income or access to insurance coverage. The American Optometric Association recommends eye examinations for infants between 6 and 12 months of age, at 3 years, and every 1-3 years for school-aged children. Diagnosis and Treatment of Eye Diseases
During your comprehensive eye exam you will be tested for Glaucoma, Cataracts, Retinopathy from Diabetes and Hypertension, and Macular Degeneration. Our doctors are also available to treat ocular emergencies including foreign body removals, conjunctivitis (“pink eye”) and eye allergies and are able to work you into the schedule as the need arises. Should an ocular emergency occur after hours, there is always a doctor on call to handle the situation. Dr. Olding and Dr. Feltz are active in the diagnosis and treatment of dry eye including the use of Restasis and punctal plugs. Our doctors are also able to prescribe Latisse, the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment of inadequate or not enough eyelashes – growing them longer, fuller and darker.
Laser Vision Surgery Consultation and Co-Management
Our doctors provide pre- and post-op care for our patients who undergo refractive surgery, including LASIK and PRK. We will conduct a thorough eye exam to determine if you are a good candidate for laser vision correction. Should we decide laser eye surgery is for you, we will refer you to a surgeon who we have worked with and are confident in their results. We will then provide your post-surgical follow up in our office.
